It is also the feast of St. John Lloyd. I mention him not only because he is one of my beloved Forty Martyrs of England and Wales, but because his name happens to be the same as that of one of my music teachers back in high school- now retired. (When I informed him that he had the same name as a saint, he seemed rather amused. I do not believe that he was, or is, Catholic. )
